This stunning, original very unusual atmospheric oil painting on stretched canvas is delightful.  A woman stands in a hallway reading a book.  She is viewed through a room with flowers where artwork adorns the wallpapered walls, her lace shawl is draped over a chair, a cushion on the floor.  It's an interesting painting that gives the viewer plenty to see and a glimpse into the mid 1st World War years, quite the conversation starter!
