Large post impressionist Art Deco figurative oil painting by French artist Bernard Py from the 1920, living, bedroom or dining decor.  This large size animated portrait painting of a woman in an interior is quite eye catching.  The woman wears a white dress, but at the same time it is a colourful, animated painting where the artist has lavished busy brush applied oils.

Condition: The painting is in overall good condition, but you should expect imperfections.  In particular, there are some renovation patches on the back, these do not appear visible on the front of the canvas. 
Signed:  Bertrand Py (1895 - 1973)  Born and died in Nogent-sur-Marne, France he was a painter of interiors with figures, landscapes, still-lifes.
Bertrand Py exhibited his work regularly at the Salon d'Automne and the Salon des Indépendants in Paris. (Benezit)
