Vintage French landscape oil painting/figurative oil painting of a woman sewing in the garden by French artist, Armand Fouquet.  A very charming, calming and at the same time, colourful and animated oil on card painting, most likely from the 1940's.  A woman sits in the garden, straw hat/blue scraf to protect her fro the sun, along with the tree.  It's a beautiful painting with pastel hues of a sun drenched garden, most likely in France.

Condition: The painting is in overall good vintage condition, there is a backing board to enforce the painting.  The frame has damages throughout, it has been renovated and is very attractive, but you should expect imperfections throughout. 
Signed:  Armand Fouquet (b1904  Armand was a French painter, he lived and worked in France and the USA in the first part of the 20th Century, his works were Post-Impressionist and were usually of street scenes in Paris, beach scenes as well as Orientalism.
Armand benefited from an American art dealer who bought all his works right from the beginning of his career. As a result, he did not have to participate in the French salons as his peers did at the time.
