19th Century Antique oil painting of dogs in a landscape after Albert de Gesne (1834 - 1903).  This signed and dated painting is very similar to paintings by Albert de Gesne and obviously they were the inspiration for the artist when he or she began the task of making this painting.  Two dogs wait patiently at the food of a small tree against an attractive rural background.
