Antique Portrait oil painting 1800’s French figurative original painting of a woman playing a mandolin or musical instrament female portrait.

This is an amazing, atmospheric and rare French fine oil painting from the mid 1800's.  A woman with blue eyes looks towards the artist and plays what I think is a mandolin.  She wears a white and grey/green gown and this against the dark background produces a Chiaroscuro effect which is very appealing and quite unusual.
