Antique French seascape coastal oil painting from the  early 1900's signed and dated in the bottom right.  A beach scene with a woman fishing.  A rocky beach in the fore with sailing ships on the horizon. It's well painted and very atmospheric with a canvas that is textured to the touch giving interest and depth.

Date: 1916
Condition: The painting, is in good antique condition but you should expect imperfections throughout such as marks in the sky and darkened varnish.  There are signs of an old woodworm attack and the frame appears to have been treated.  The original frame aso has imperfections throughout including missing moulding, gilt and visible plaster as well as old renovations, there is some minor loose moulding which may come off during transit.
