A large and stunningly beautiful still life oil painting by French artist Paul Tourrette (1866-1917).  Two vases sit on a table, perhaps the flowers have come from the garden, freshly picked, arranged and ready to paint.  Roses and lilacs in a variety of colour with very deep hues of reds and purples, highlighted by the gold on the vases.  It is typically French and the artist has made an exceptional painting, large enough to fill a wall.  It's on a smooth original canvas in amazing condition for the age and sits within a vintage frame that suits it well.
