A dark and moody 'French school' 19th century female oil portrait.  Hailing from the early 1800's, this wonderful old portrait is a complete stunner.  A beautiful woman, with the deepest brown eyes and the slightest of smiles looks out from the depths of time.  Her dark hair looks to be tied back leaving only a suggestion of the little curls that frame her.  She wears a brown organza dress with a white trim.  It's very authentic French and would look stunning on any wall... .

Condition: This painting is in good and stable antique condition.  It's not perfect and there are imperfections, but you wouldn't expect anything else from a painting of this age.  It's in an old frame, again with signs of wear and tear but nothing onerous and the whole is quite wonderful.
