Antique post impressionist landscape oil painting on board in a fabulous old frame.  This stunning Art Deco painting sits within an equally stunning frame.  On a board that is smooth with highlighted textured layers of paint to animate the French sunshine on the luscious pink houses.   It is signed and dated (1915) in the lower left, although I cannot make out the signature, it is likely to be an English artist because of the George Rowney & Co Birchmore Board which was in production around 1913.

Condition: The painting, is in good antique condition but you should expect imperfections associated with age, such as darkened varnish, particularly in the sky area.  The frame is heavy and has renovations throughout, expect losses particularly around the four corners, but on the whole, for the age, the frame is in good condition.
