RESERVED, PLEASE DO NOT BUY! 1930's Large vintage post impressionist oil painting on board, French artist.  This painting is signed by the artist in the lower left corner.  It's an exciting animated, figurative painting of a Guinguette or a lake side park/restaurant.  Lakes are very popular in France and it is where the inland villages embrace the feel of the sea side, many have large lakes with water parks and man made beaches, restaurants and more!  Here, the artist has given us a very animated and full of interest painting, families crown the lakeside park at lunch time.  Tall trees and parasols offer shade from the summer sun, while children play in the open fresh air.  This is a very unique and intriguing painting, exciting, different and very decorative.
