Antique French landscape/riverside oil painting on wood board in a gilt frame, signed in the lower right  A R Huet and dated 1887.  This is a typical and charming French landscape/riverscape with plenty of atmosphere brought on by colourful hues of greens, browns and blues.  In the fore, the depth of the river is quite striking and your eye wonders to it, whilst at the back of the painting a lilac mountain meeting the cold blue sky.
