Antique French impressionist landscape, signed in the lower right and in an attractive gold coloured frame by Charles Vionnet (1858-1923).    A very pleasing impressionist oil painting on thick card of a hilly French village, most likely somewhere in Avignon, where the artist lived and worked all of his life.  Here, a goat herder heads into the village with his trip.  Chickens busy themselves against a backdrop of French Provence hills and sky.
