Beautiful antique oil portrait of a young girl.  A dark sideways portrait of a child, canvas on hardboard.  Art Nouveau portrait.  This is a delightful, charming and incredibly attractive oil portrait of a girl with brown eyes.  It's quite dark.  The artist has captured this young girl beautifully.  Her hair is tied back with a red ribbon as she looks slightly downwards.  It's simplicity itself but the underlying message is tranquility and calm.

Condition: This painting is in overall good condition, but expect imperfections associated with age.  At some point in time, this portrait would have been on a stretched canvas but the canvas is now pasted to board.  There are a number of imperfections throughout as well as some old renovations.  The frame is antique but again has had renovations .  The whole is very attractive.
