Antique French still life of cherries and a copper bowl, signed in the top left corner and dated 1870.  This wonderful old still life in a heavy frame, is atmospheric, dark and moody.  The cherries sit on a porcelain stand, whilst a copper pan leans over to the right giving balance to the composition and light.  It's a gorgeous old painting that is smooth to the touch on an old heavy wood board.  The frame is probably the original.

Condition:  This painting is in good condition for its age, no real problems to note, except that there are some mark/missing paint, particularly around the periphery.  It's in, what looks likely to be its original frame, the frame has had some renovation but is in good condition, you should expect losses of moulding, especially around the corners.
