Exquisitely detailed antique oil painting on wood board of Carnations in in a bronze vase by renown French artist, Theodore Charles Ange Coquelin.  Fine details are the order of the day, it's on a smooth wood board with some elevation to the petals achieved by the use of impasto.

Condition:  This painting is in good condition, however you should expect minor imperfections in particular the edges of the painting.  The frame has renovations, particularly at the corners and on the raised ornate elements but it appears to be in a good sturdy condition.
Signed: Theodore Charles Ange Coquelin (XIX - XX)  He was a painter of flowers and landscapes, he was also a painter at Montmartre in Paris.  Many of his paintings have been reproduced as prints.  He has art displayed in Bayonne and Tourcoing museums, france.
