Bright still life oil painting of a floral display by Giovanni Morscio (1880-1943).  Impasto thickened floral display with deep colourful hues of yellows, reds and purple.  This mixed flower still life is very animated.  The wood board is highly textured to the touch with lots of impasto elevated paint on the petals.

Signed: G Morscio (1880-1943) The label on the back of the paintings states that this artist was awarded a gold medal at the Floreal exposition in Nice and two of his paintings are in the Musée du Gap in France. He also received a silver medal from the minister of professional art painters in Rome.
Condition:  This painting is in good condition for the age, expect minor age related imperfections.  It would do well in a frame.
