Antique landscape oil painting by Belgium artist, Frans Binje , signed in the lower right corner.
This oil on canvas on thick wood board is textured to the touch.  A flurry of busy deliberate brushstrokes with impasto fill this painting with animated interest.  The houses are grounded on the horizon, stone facades with clay roofs.  The countryside has a myriad of green hues and the sky is also animated because of the multi-directional brushstrokes applied by the artist.
