André Albert Albertin (1867-1933)


André was born on the 4 June 1867 in Grenoble and died there on the 20th October 1933. He studied under Alexis-Paul Pachot d'Arzac, Laurent Guétal and Ernest Victor Hareux. He gave lessons in the open air in certain districts of Grenoble to a large audience. He was also a journalist and art critic and went by the name of André Lefravres. He was, above all, a landscape painter and he favourited colourful landscapes. Andre also illustrated books. He exhibited at the Paris Salons of 1895, 1896 and 1899.
